Number One Fan

The late Laurie Nichols, ‘Number One Fan’ of the Balmain Tigers and one of Rugby League’s favourite identities has been memorialised in a short documentary. The documentary will be distributed during this years 100yr anniversary celebrations and features Balmain identities including Wayne Pearce, Benny Elias, Sid Williams (scorer of the winning try in 1969), Arthur Beetson, Ray Chesterton, Alan Jones, locals, players and one very lucky cat.
